This month is Meaningful May, and I've been aiming to do something kind for another person today; I hugged a friend tonight when she needed it.

A couple of little things getting to me tonight - trying not to feel too hard done by at the slightest incident.

So, back in 2018, a friend invited some of us on a hike with Stag Walkers, and I joined the walk. I was nervous at first, unsure whether to approach the ramblers at the meeting point, until I spotted my friend and I found myself getting on well with the other people on the group. I thought I'd write a note for Mum thanking her for all that she's done for me, and pass it on to her when I see her later.

My other plans for today are go for a swim in my local lido this morning, since it is now open, and then join the Stags for an evening hike. Then, we'll be getting food in a local pub.

I'm just thinking about my values, and how I can use them today.

Certainly, I can use my own commitment to doing what I say I will do, and dedication to Stag Walkers and getting people walking; so I'll hopefully go to one of my local pubs tonight, and see if I can put out some leaflets advertising our upcoming walks.
